Speedcube is modern puzzle-solving timer, built as a progressive web app that is optimized for both desktop and mobile use. Special attention has been paid to its design and user experience.
Thanks for checking out Speedcube! It supports all WCA puzzle types with random-state scramble generation for all except the big cubes. You can create sessions, add penalties, view statistics, use keyboard shortcuts, enable WCA inspection mode, export solves, use it offline, change the language, and more.
I am quite lost. I have no idea what action to take once I open the webpage. Am I supposed to solve and record the time? How do I start the timer? Is the sequence I see an unsolved sequence?
@saurav_kothari Hey Saurav, this is a tool for speedcubers to practice for competitions. If you're not familiar with how timers work, check out some videos on YouTube to see people use them. The gist of it is that the colored code is the set of scrambling instructions (https://ruwix.com/the-rubiks-cub...) and the timer is controlled by either clicking on the time or using the spacebar. Your time will be saved automatically, and then you can look at all your past solves and analyze statistics.
Timer applications generally all work in a similar way. Here are some other popular timers for comparison:
