@weizhuxiaona Our key differentiator is that we give members the choice between two people. In all of the current swipe-dating apps, the typical behavior for users is to swipe right on everyone as fast as they can, in order to get more matches. However, after matching, many users don’t even communicate with each other because they realize they are not actually interested in each other. We think Spark’s unique interface will change that behavior by encouraging each person to take a moment to learn a bit more about each of the two candidates they are presented and then make a conscious choice. Also, in the future versions of the app, we will be creating some incentives to encourage people to communicate with each other and take other actions that will help spark even deeper connections amongst our customers.
Seems like this idea could more easily A/B test potential matches for you and narrow down what you're looking for in a potential mate faster than presenting you matches 1 by 1. Still very similar to Tinder though, so wonder what else they feel makes this app different.
