Product hunt is what inspired me to make my career building incredible product. In its early days, I was a power user in 2013 so Its insanely cool to be on here today. We probably should have posted sooner but weve been heads down shipping.
Came full circle when I was able to have Ryan invest in Sound.

All I can think to write is “sensational”… the homage to Future’s voice, of course. Congrats to team. Where did the idea of collecting a song + earning a seat in the audience originate? I remember the first time I saw that concept from you all. So fire. Keep pushing, Sound team… the vast world of musicians is so blessed by your continued existence.
@johnexley I always wanted to make finding music feel like the experience of going to a concert and seeing other music fans just like yourself.
At the beginning of sound we had no designer just me and the early wirefames were just rectangles since that was about all i could handle but it turned out to be the design that stuck.
I wanted three things in the mvp
1. comments
2. story behind the song
3. audience section.
Everything else i had no idea where were going but i always start by building product for myself :)

Found my peace with Music NFTs, thanks to Sound for creating such an amazing platform, where I can discover loads of independent artists and support them by collecting their drops.
Been an early user, did have a hassle paying high gas on mints, when sound added Optimism L2 blockchain, it go much smoother and super easy to buy via credit cards too.
And the trend of Viral sounds is an epic thing which let users discover some really dope artist and their music.
Super happy that I was there to witness it.
