I've run a distributed company before and I will again and Slack is essentially our office. I believe offices should be as silent as possible but not virtual ones. I think all shared experiences help us become closer as a team and I think sometimes, listening to the same music, is great experience.
I'll definitely give this product a try when I start to grow my company and if by then it could play music synchronized, that would be amazing.
