Sociall (Beta)

A secure and private decentralised social network for all.

Sociall is a new generation of networking. It is a secure and private decentralised social network for all. Sociall encrypts all data and multimedia uploads and stores it securely all over the world, making it completely decentralised. Sociall plans to move the entire platform to self-governing, giving the power back to the people.

@praveen662 umm your profile. Your only upvote is this project, and along with the rest of these generic "facebook killer" comments it's pretty easy to tell what's going on in this thread.

@praveen662 @markus_schuette Totally, totally agreed. Fortunately, there's a "REPORT" function for just such a situation.
Nic
@praveen662 @markus_schuette His twitter feed is also a constant stream of Sociall retweets.

According to your whitepaper (page 14): "All data and multimedia uploads are stored within the encrypted decentralized storage solution that is built and maintained by Sociall. This system integrates with a hosted database that utilizes MongoDB sharding for further decentralisation of storage." You have a strange idea of what "decentralized" means. You own the servers that run the database infrastructure, that means nobody can host a "sociall node" to really decentralize the platform. IMO You're confusing clustering/geo-clustering infrastructures with the decentralized infrastructures. Also Facebook is a decentralized network according to your definition.

@antoangelino I don't know if Jade saw this, but as mentioned in another comment the sharded MondoDB is only temporary and they're moving to IPFS on release.
