Pindrop by Socialie is a social media listening tool that sends you text message alerts when influential Twitter accounts mention your brand, keywords and hashtags.
This is a tool I developed when working with celebrities, athlete and brands that get a lot of mentions. It was difficult to cull through all the “noise” to find the most important mentions. Second, I needed something that was proactive so when I was running through an airport or at the gym or sleeping - I wouldn’t miss anything. And last, I wanted to know more than just mentions of a @username - there were other important keywords I needed to monitor that we’re equally relevant.
The nice part is you define what is "influential" by the number of followers an account must have to trigger an alert. So if you're LeBron James you might only want mentions of your name, nicknames and @username from people who have over 2 million followers.
