We all have a bunch of social media accounts with so many urls to share... We thought why not link to them in one place and you can view analytics of your social links, who’s visiting and your popular profiles.
There are similar products out there, which doesn't make this bad but still feels a little redundant.
What is bad though, is not having a single example of what your product looks like on its own website. As a potential user, why would I sign up/give you my email address, when I've no idea what I'm actually signing up for?
Best case scenario, you'd have an interactive prototype so that users would know exactly what their page could look like. Worst case, but still adequate, you'd include some screenshots (both mobile and desktop) to give visitors a rough idea of what they'd be getting.
Soci started as a side part of a bigger project but we felt this concept was strong enough and useful enough to be used flying solo. We added analytics to the backend and it's a prefer fun, free and easy way to share your social profiles.
Hi @p_maloney Clean, easy yet needs some UX changes. I shall suggest some important changes. Instead of creating multiple tabs like 'Manage links' ,'Profile', 'View Profile' you could have build everything i a single window and made it much easier to manage and save.
Example : Build Profile [Ist page]
Name - Abc
URLs - www.xyz.com + Image here
website - www.xyz.com
Phone number - 00000000000 Preview of the Profile here
Bio - blah blah
Public email - blah@gmail.com
Location - blah city
Insert Image -
[Save and Update]
2nd page [Build your business card]
Insert front and back page
Build your QR code [this enables user to share their business card via email or social channels simply sharing the QR code or the link to Soci.username link ]
Name - abc
Designation - blah
Organisation Preview of business card here
Company Logo - [Image]
Save and Update
Or
Download
These are some suggestions and let me know if you find this helpful.

@iamvarunnair the contents of that blog isn't particularly important besides the takeaway that there are many competing products for what i want to make. but mine is slightly different. how do i know if i would be differentiated enough?
