Snippet Shot is a tool that allows you to create beautiful screenshots from your code snippets, for easy sharing on Twitter or other places. Import a Github gist or copy-paste some code, select a gradient, and download a hi-res PNG for sharing!

This started as an experiment. Of course, I'm aware of carbon.now.sh, a great screenshot tool I've been using before. However, I wanted to build my own. I wanted it a bit more minimal (less config) and have a nice gradient background. I'm pretty happy with it, my coworkers seem to like it so I thought I'd release it, in case it will be useful for someone else!

@marcoslooten this is cool! :) Would be nice if: 1. there was a command-line version 2. you could input an Atom syntax highlighting theme to customize the colors

@chrismessina Thanks so much for checking it out. I got a lot of great feedback over the last day or so. I think you bring up some valid points! Don't want it to turn into Carbon but there's some room for features, definitely. Thanks again!
