What do you think? …

Tanner Christensen
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Tanner Christensen, and I’m excited to share Snaplight 2 with you. This app began as a weekend side project 10 years ago to help me highlight quotes from books. I just wanted a simple way to spotlight the part of an image I could share on socials and it turns out I wasn’t the only one. The original Snaplight was featured by Apple and even promoted by Starbucks nationwide (!). It went on to get nearly 500,000 downloads. Snaplight 2 is a complete rebuild, redesigned from the ground up for iOS and Mac. It’s much faster, more powerful, and more delightful to use. The idea is still simple: pick an image, highlight the key part, and share it quickly. Some new features I’m proud of: • Freehand Highlighting: draw natural shapes around anything, not just text. • Spotlight Mode: blur and fade the background for clean, focused emphasis. • One-Tap Text Highlighting: perfect for quotes, notes, or key points. • Custom Colors: create just the right vibe • Cross-platform: works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac • Snaplight Unlimited: unlocks more highlight colors, PDF exports, and unlimited highlights. I hope Snaplight 2 helps you share more clearly, remember more easily, and bring focus to the moments that matter. It was fun to build, and I’d love to hear what you think! Thanks for checking it out! – Tanner

This could be promoted on social media so well. E.g. such quiz questions with image: find the object or count the number of objects. I like those and many people join these "trivia tests" on FB or similar websites.
