Snaplet was founded in 2022 by Peter Pistorius, co-creator of RedwoodJS. For years, Peter experienced the frustration of not having good data to code against. His insight was that developers are at their best when they focus on what they’re best at: coding, not wasting time on tedious tasks like writing and maintaining seed scripts, or messing with production dumps. That's why he formed Snaplet, and collectively, our vision is to help developers get back into flow by giving them production-like data they can code against, in a snap!
With our new tool Snaplet Seed, we intend to:

Curiosity though, how 'realistic' is this mock data? It's a thin line between useful and too-close-to-home when it comes to mimicking production environments. And are there any flexibility perks for projects that have really unique data needs? Can it understand and adapt to the complexities that might not fit the standard mold? It's always a bonus to have that kind of versatility in your toolbox.🛠️💡
