@masump thanks and good question. It's something that's not supported yet right now, but I definitely have it on the list of future improvements. Do note however, the app already provides you with full access to the DB's installation/data directory, so creating a quick back up should only take a minute or so ๐Ÿ˜‰

Really cool idea! Setting up Postgres locally is always a time-suck. Does it include UI apps like pgAdmin, or at least make it easy to connect?
Musa
@tleyden Thanks for the compliment! Out of the box, no DB interfacing tool is included. For now, SnapDB just helps you with starting/managing the database servers themselves. In order to view, query, chart your data, you'll still need a tool like pgAdmin, TablePlus, MySQL Workbench etc. In terms of connecting to the database; that's easy. The same default credentials can be used as you would normally do. E.g. 127.0.0.1:5432, username postgres, no password. Feel free to try the app out and let me know if this can be cleared up! โญ๏ธ

sounds like an interesting app! Do you have plans to support additional database services in the future?
Musa
@stb__ yes absolutely. Elasticsearch support is dropping (very) soon, and more services are planned for the future. https://x.com/SnapDBApp/status/1...
