Slick Docs

Hello Product Hunters! I'm the founder of CakeResume (see previous hunt), Trantor. We intend to make our Resume Builder independent from CakeResume, and become a document editing software, Slick. Most of the time, with traditional text editors (e.g. Google Docs & Microsoft Word), users have trouble creating their ideal formats or layouts. It can even be frustrating to simply get an image and a string of text to align side by side. Therefore, we have developed Slick editor for you, to create documents with a variety of layouts effortlessly. Multimedia elements such as images, videos, slides, maps, and icons can be easily added to your documents. Slick can be seen as a comprehensive version of Google Docs and website builder, Wix. It retains the easy-to-use and printable functions of Google docs, and at the same time, achieves features of flexible layouts and multimedia elements. Slick empowers users to build all kinds of documents, especially those with multimedia elements, for instance, resumes, travel itineraries, recipes, agendas, flyers, and etc. I also built my resume with Slick! Cool idea but having a hard time understanding where to find Slick once I signed up for CakeResume.

Super excited to see the launching of this new editor and how the team has blurred the boundary between traditional "text editors" and "graphic design platforms" - I could already imagine a variety of usage for this product. Pumped to start using this more!
