A Beat Saber-like game developed to run on the web for VR devices and specifically support the Apple Vision Pro, Slice of Music is an action-packed rhythm game where your saber becomes your instrument
The Apple Vision Pro is an amazing device, but one of the biggest complaints so far has been the lack of a true Beat Saber-like game. It's frustrating to switch to another headset just for that one experience. That’s why I created Slice of Music, bringing the excitement of rhythmic slicing games directly to AVP users. Now, you can enjoy the rhythm experience you’ve been waiting for—without needing to switch headsets. I can’t wait for you to try it out!
It runs in the browser, so just visit https://sliceofmusic.com to play, and it should support all VR headsets. Unfortunately, for PC and mobile users, while you can visit the website with an immersive avatar and hear blocks pass by with music, you won’t be able to use your arms to slice the blocks. At least not yet ;)
Believe it or not, I don't own beat saber for my Quest.... so this is finally a way for me to play the game! Love that it's browser based and I expect to see more browser-based experiences as headsets become more mainstream.
@ihuzaifashoukat Thank you for the kind words! The main learning curve is that AVP user's have to use their hands as cursors to navigate the in game menu instead of eye tracking due to eye tracking only being partially supported in WebXR. Otherwise playing is as simple as swinging your arms in the directions of the arrows. The community run catalog of courses to play on is vast so there's something for people of all skill levels!
