I'm mostly convinced! Happy to jump ship from Yahoo. Any chance your team has plans for co-commissionerships? I've got a league where I handle the technology side of things, but another person handles the scoring/trades/sport-specifics — is this something planned or already supported?
@kleinmaetschke Hi Klein, that's a great feature request that I'll bring up to the team. How would the delineation of the tech / sports roles work for you guys so I can better understand how we can implement something like that? The way we currently have the leagues set up is basically a 1 minute setup process with a turbo-tax like on-boarding with a couple default options for team size, scoring settings, etc., to make it easy for more casual commissioners to create a league without having to worry about predetermining hundreds of settings in advance. The leagues will then generate a unique invite link that you can share outwards with friends and it deep links them into your league. All of your leaguemates are brought into the league chat environment, and you can decide how best to further customize scoring/trades/and other specific settings together. In practice you can still be commissioner, and leverage the rest of your league's opinions to edit settings at any time prior to the start of the season. We even have built in polling to make it easier for you to gather opinions on things like draft time, type of scoring, number of roster positions, how trades work etc. All of that can be discussed with your league and decided on (or changed) prior to drafting.
@nan_wang Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not sure you'd need to assign responsibilities. Currently, Yahoo allows for giving an additional user commissioner level permissions. That's really all we'd need. We can deal with splitting responsibilities amongst ourselves.
I totally understand you wanted to streamline the onboarding—and boy, did you! It was great!—this would definitely be an "advanced user" feature. Just need the ability to say "This coach is also a commissioner with me."
