Skizzle

Maker
Hello Hunters, I am Mayur, founder of Skizzle. Skizzle started out as a simple proof of concept for our privacy centric storage network https://newfang.io. Since those very humble beginnings and thanks to the feedback we received while interviewing potential users, Skizzle is something we feel needs to stand on its own. Why Skizzle Sharing of files with potentially untrusted and unknown parties happens predominantly over email. The ideal way to securely share these files is by encrypting them client side with your own keys to ensure that no one except intended recipients view your files. Solutions for these exist but: - They're unwieldy and require you to context switch between apps. - They require you to manage keys and passwords to all emails/files shared. - PGP is great but has limitation on file size and does not support additional features like access revocation. What you can do today In it's current form, Skizzle is a browser extension(Chrome, Brave, Edge) that allows Gmail users to send and receive end to end encrypted files to other Gmail users, ensuring that neither Gmail nor Skizzle or any third party in between ever have access to these files. With Skizzle, you can: - Share end to end encrypted files - Revoke access to users already shared with - Avoid having to manage any keys or file specific passwords - Verify who has access to your files on a public blockchain - Verify your usage on the same public chain What's coming, very soon In a few days from now, we also launch our web app and improvements to the extension(Gosh, I wish we timed this better 😁) which will allow you to: - Share E2EE files with any email id - Put in intelligent count and time based revoke options(Eg: Revoke access to Alice after 1 access, Revoke access to Bob after 24h...) - Request access to Skizzle encrypted attachments you receive as forwards What's coming, a little later We have a host of other features lined up, such as: - A MS Outlook specific add-in - Read only permissions on files - Send entire emails or specific portions of text with E2EE - Sharing access with entire domains(Eg: make PitchDeck.pdf available to everyone with an a16z.com email address) We would love to hear what you guys think about Skizzle and what we intend to do. Please leave a comment with your feedback and questions. As a special thank you to the PH community, up for grabs is 100% off on our Basic Plan for community members who email us at hello@skizzlehq.com with the subject PHSkizzle and cite their PH handle. A big thank you to @chrismessina for hunting us! More power to you and the community at large. Cheers Mayur

Hello Folks, Our beta users loved how easy to use skizzle is compared to other encryption products out there. Most even tell us that they didn't realise it is powered by a blockchain, which has always been our goal, to abstract it away from the end-user. Hope you like what we've built, would love to hear your feedback.
