Designing/building a product? Researching how the top teams do it is a surefire way to make sure your work is world-class. Problem is, that can take a lot of time/money! We're building a library of product walkthroughs that anyone can use for fast research.
Hi PH!
Jeremy & I have worked on a product team together for years, and we naturally find that we're always trying out different products for research. Sometimes it's for UX ("I need to design a downgrade plan for a subscription, how does Slack do it?") and sometimes it's just for product ideas and inspiration.
It can often take a lot of time/money to conduct this research though - sometimes you have to pay first to see a product in action or wait a certain period of time (e.g. free trial expiry). That's why we're hoping to save other folks time by doing this for them. We'll even pay for popular products just to get a walkthrough so you can see what those experiences look like.
We're hoping to build a small side gig out of this, so think of this as our MVP. Any and all feedback (even "it sucks I'd never use it") is valuable! Just try and tell us why it sucks so we can make it better ;)
