The app ecosystem is vast, and support is generally reliable. However, one drawback is that Shopify still runs on older technology like Ruby on Rails. While it doesn't impact daily store operations for most users, it can limit flexibility and speed for developers working on more advanced customizations. Overall, it's a great platform for entrepreneurs and growing businesses, but there's room for modernization on the backend.
