@_jacksmith true that we are working in similar space. Unlike shippo we don't focus solely on making it easier to print labels and ship. But to improve the customers' delivery and returns experience. Which is key for e-commerce and long-term value creation.
@zackshapiro we enable merchants to offer a wider and better selection of delivery options as we can real-time check what is possible for the given shopping cart. Also we support showing delivery points. And vice versa for returns. Finally we also allow the merchant to be in control of the communication around the delivery to the customer.
@svenningsen "we enable merchants to offer a wider and better selection of delivery options as we can real-time check what is possible for the given shopping cart. Also we support showing delivery points. And vice versa for returns" - my understanding is that Shippo do this also. It does look like a cool product though.
@BlendahTom@FrankDenbow@_jacksmith@zackshapiro at Shipbeat we standardize the service levels across all carriers and return applicable quotes for your request. So if you want a certain delivery time or service level for the delivery - you don't have to request a specific carrier service e.g. FEDEX_2_DAY_AM. You simply specify when the shipment needs to arrive and we return applicable quotes. We also allow you to request for multiple service levels (delivery options) at once and we can real-time return which ones are applicable for your request (shopping cart)
