One-click screen recorder that lets you share recordings instantly, directly in your browser. Simplify bug reporting, document business processes, understand open source issues faster or showcase your product. No software or extensions needed.
Nice, simple and quite useful tool indeed. An audio option would be highly welcome. Sometimes, explaining what you are showing can help a great deal in troubleshooting and remote assistance work.
Kudos for having made this available for everyone for free Alex @agctyz .
P.S.: I am going to devote it a short review on tools.robingood.com. It's right in my ballpark.
@agctyz@robingood@agcty Thank you and congrats, @Alex! Just used it and love it that is faster to start than Loom for essentially the same function. Also waiting for the audio. If I may and if not too cumbersome, may I ask if you could kindly let me know at flaviusoxford@gmail.com when the audio is working, please? Many thanks and please stay safe, Flavius
@agctyz@robingood Being able to record audio is a little trickier than expected, while it already works, the user experience is not the best at this moment, however it shouldn't take too long to fix that (2-3 days).
Hey Product Hunt folks! 👋🏻
I'm so excited to share my newest project with you. 🎉
You can use shareit.video to:
📣 simplify internal bug reporting
📑 create video documentations
👨🏻💻 get customer feedback
💻 understand open source project issues faster
Last week I wanted to send a friend a short video of an issue on a website but there didn't seem to be anything that would let me send a short 10 sec screen recording. Loom sounded great and the team behind it does some incredible work (definitely check them out!) but I didn't want to install an extension again.
So I decided to build shareit.video which does just that. It let's you share screen recordings instantly. No extensions, no apps, no logins. I hope you'll find it as useful as I do.
Let me know what you think!
@agcty Alex Gogl - Updated feedback: having used Shareit.video a good number of times, I have to confirm that this is a great, useful free tool that I'd highly recommend. The only limitation that I have found after using it is that the user is not reminded clearly enough that he has a limited recording time and a visible/audible sign that this is expiring during recording. I have ended up creating a few videos that contained only a part of what I thought I recorded but I was completely unaware that I had run beyond maximum recording time.
Is it just me having this issue?
