Hi all. We built Shar.ec because it seemed like a fun and needed service. We've tried to build a service that makes it easy to record and share your screen in a secure and integrity-preserving way. We're at a very early stage, and would love any kind of feedback.

@guytaylor88 ah yeah I see what you mean. it's a tricky balance between simple and secure in that sense. that particular example would be possible by sharing the url part before # publicly and the part after # privately. we currently don't provide a ui for filling in the key but that seems like a very easy addition.

@guytaylor88 we've added a "hidden feature" now 👉 if you remove the hash from the url we'll present an input field for the user to enter the key from the hash. So you may be separate sharing the url from sharing the code if you want to.

This is actually amazing. LOVE the simplicity. The threshold is so low that I can see my self sending quick notes to colleagues with this instead of typing it out and sending screenshots. Looking forward to see where this goes ❤️
