Sellou (Sell-Oh) is a social commerce platform that focuses on tagging your favorite places, products, and websites for you to discover and share with others in your community.
Hi Everyone! This is Sellou, a passion project of ours that we believe is the beginning of the future of e-commerce. More and more these days people are finding out about new restaurants, new businesses, small businesses that are struggling, all by the power of social media. We believe by incorporating social media into commerce as a whole, it will revolutionize the way people shop & the ways people start & market their own businesses.
Our mission is to find Product Market Fit. We know this idea can & will work, it's just a matter of how we do it. So after iterating, testing, launching & doing so over and over again, we believe we're at least starting to understand the industry.
Which brings us to today's launch! We've incorporated video sharing, the ability to tag locations, websites, & products. The ability to share between friends/family & much more. Small businesses also have the ability to sell products directly in the app, so organic marketing is simpler than ever!
Even with all these features and changes, we know we still have a ways to go, probably some bugs to fix, but we're incredibly passionate about this idea & are constantly looking into ways to improve this platform as a whole.
