I have been long-term unemployed and experienced the biases that exist in the job market.
With the growth of user-generated content on social platforms, it is increasingly important to put a face to a name. However, recruitment processes often rely on blind written CVs/resumes and questionable practices like removing a candidate's identity to supposedly reduce bias, or using automated ATS systems that may overlook talented candidates.
To address these issues, I founded SeenHire with the goal to revolutionise the way job seekers present themselves to potential employers and the way employers see candidates.
I strongly believe that traditional recruitment methods have not evolved enough, especially in the age of Covid-19, and that both job seekers and employers have evolved their expectations over the years.
The mission is to create a more authentic and meaningful recruitment process that helps to reduce the impact of unconscious bias, leading to a more diverse workforce.
