Sounds interesting because it makes signups easier. But what exactly is it? I'm still wondering. Too much info on the site. Would appreciate the core benefit and how it works.
@daveying99 The core benefit is that Scriber increases signup conversion because it radically decreases the time a lead needs to spend on a form. A shorter signup process = higher conversion (especially on mobile). Scriber remembers the contact info for each device, so ultimately we can even replace the form with just a single signup button and still populate your contact database.
@mespiderman Ok! And how much control do we have over the look & feel of the form? Can we use our own embedded form software? And how does the mobile / web bridging happen?
@daveying99 Scriber is plug and play. You can use whatever form builder you would like. Just copy and paste our Javascript Tag onto the page and it works.
@pt thanks for the question Parker. Short answer: The users data is passively collected as they fill out a form where our Scriber tag is installed. We link devices through a proprietary algorithm that looks at a large number of factors, including things like email address, etc., to link the devices.
Long answer: Scriber permanently tracks all devices independent of cookies that visit Scriber-enabled websites. Scriber is initiated through a javascript tag on the website that bootloads the data collection process. Scriber then builds a profile for each device as the device interacts with websites and signup forms. As the device fills out forms, the data from these forms is also added to the profile. When device profiles match (the same PII is shared between multiple devices) Scriber augments the primary device profile with the secondary device profiles. So there is now essentially one single profile per user that includes all of his/her devices. Users that opt-in so that the cloud-based autofill syncs across all their devices verify their devices and can add additional devices to their profile.
@pt a few last things about Scriber security, mobile and data.
Security and mobile:
Scriber passes data using a dynamic 3-key protocol. So it keeps lead contact info safe even on a mobile device over wireless data and insecure wifi networks. Scriber autofills the mobile forms that market automation can't because Scriber doesn't depend on cookies or email beacons.
Insights and Augmented Data:
Scriber also comes with cutting edge insights that diagnose conversion hurdles and conversion pathways. Scriber augments signups with additional information, like what else the lead has signed up for.
