👋 Hey Product Hunt! Thank you @maccaw for hunting us a second time around! We owe so much to this community 🙏. We first launched Scribe (then called Scribe by Cursive) right here in June 2020. We had no idea what to expect or where it would take us; we just knew that we were solving a real problem we had faced as a team, and wanted to see if others felt the same way. The answer we heard from this community was a resounding YES (with lots of ideas on how we could make it better!). We took your comments and went back to building. We’ve been heads down for the last 15 months and now here we are — Over a year later, we’re so thrilled to take the wraps off of Scribe 2.0 and share it with you! We’ve invested so much in incorporating your feedback to make the new Scribe experience the easiest way to "share how." We built Scribe because we want everyone to be able to do, and share, their best work. Scribe makes it effortless to capture and share your know-how. At this point, Scribes have been shared hundreds of thousands of times. The median Scribe only takes only 54 seconds to create! Any time someone asks “how do I….?” - rather than writing out step-by-step instructions, taking screenshots, hopping on a zoom, or ignoring their question (😜), simply shoot them a Scribe. You all made this possible with your support and feedback on Scribe 1.0. We are SO excited to share Scribe 2.0 with you now. This is the foundation for our future, and we have big plans for what we will build next on top of it. We can’t wait to hear what you think.

It’s been awesome to see the evolution of Scribe over the past year, and a pleasure to be hunting Scribe again. Scribe 2.0 has a sleek new look, introduces some thoughtful new features, and is even more intuitive to use. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Sharing what you know > keeping it to yourself. This is the fastest, easiest, and--dare I say it--most fun way of creating a how-to guide. Check it out.
