SCImago Graphica is a desktop application (Mac, Win and Linux) designed to analyze and visualize data. Visualizations can be exported to SVG and PNG, but also published as interactive and responsive charts.

I must say I haven't used it yet but @yusef has a long experience in not only teaching about design but also crafting elegant and useful products like, for example, Calmly Writer or now SCImago.

I have been using it for the past two months, both for personal projects and small experiments.
It is very powerful and can go from the most simple representations to small interactive systems. The SVG and HTML export is superb, and the quality of the code for the exports is excellent.
