I used to go social dance parties very often - like 4 times a week. But it was never easy to find good parties. Sometimes when I missed a good party, I felt sad. But one day I decided to solve the problem in a software developer way. So salsafloors was born :) Salsafloors crawls hand picked groups and pages in facebook, gathers dance events on a common platform and presents them to users in a nice and searchable way. I actually started it as a side project. When I showed it to my friends and shared it in the Internet, I got a lot of good feedback. Therefore I kept working on it. By time more and more people started using it. Now it has more than 10K users per months.
