This sounds super cool! A Windows 9x vibe with Vanilla JS? That's a unique twist! I can already imagine the nostalgia while navigating through those HTML files.🖥️Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Thanks! The browser itself handles networking capabilities. I do have a rudimentary web browser in there that displays web pages in iframes, but not every website on the internet can be visited due to websites preventing themselves from displaying in iframes. They do that as a security measure so people with malicious intent aren't able to impersonate them. There is a way to get around this restriction by hosting a proxy server, but I'm not sure if I want to do that.
Very interesting. A quick question - can this also entertain really old games and apps such as Windows 3.x to 98-era stuff? Thought to ask since sometimes I have the lingering thought to revisit old classics.
