Every tweet containing #runforrestrun moves Forrest 1 mile along his 13,089 mile zig-zag route, from Alabama to Utah. Last time, he ran for 3 years, 2 months, 14 days, and 16 hours. How long will it take Forrest (and the internet) to do it again?
This is my first project after finishing the 9-week coding bootcamp Le Wagon, Amsterdam. I wanted to build something fun and pointless, for no reason other than to keep on learning :)
Thanks @84tomer :) had a blast picking those quotes. glad you liked em! the hashtag isn't being used that often, but if you're on the page when a new tweet is found, another quote pops up and the map zooms in to forrest's new location
This is fantastic :-) I love seeing these projects. I can almost guarantee some company/coporation is going to copy this idea for a marketing stunt.
Also, hello to a fellow Amsterdammer!
My one piece of input for improvement. You have no call to action on the site for me to tweet the hashtag. You could even have some prefilled tweets for me to choose from :-)
