After years of being in DeFi, frustrated with much of the process and complexity, I'm excited to have helped launch Rocko ReFi, to make refinancing onchain loans effortless.
Previously, refinancing a DeFi loan required either a ton of cash up front, or a bespoke and often complex transaction stringing together many 3rd party services. Rocko ReFi changes all that, allowing Rocko borrowers to refinance in a single click.
Why Rocko ReFi?
While onchain borrowing offers great benefits like competitive rates and flexible terms, a common pain point are the variable rates and difficulty in refinancing. To refinance a DeFi loan, borrowers must either repay their initial loan in full or execute a series of complex transactions onchain—neither being great options!
Rocko ReFi redefines the borrowing experience so users can easily refinance their loan to better rates and terms, while retaining the originally borrowed funds. The entire process can be completed in just minutes and so borrowers can start reaping the benefits of their new loan terms immediately
What's next?
We want borrowers to always have the best rate and Rocko ReFi is one just one step towards making that a reality. In the future, we plan to launch enhancements such as auto-refinancing so Rocko users can set their loan on autopilot and always ensure they're getting the best rate.
