Rocketgraph is an open-source drop in replacement to Firebase, except it's much better. I comes with authentication and serverless functions. Soon I'll be integrating stripe, so you can use your authenticated users as stripe customers.
This is the 2nd launch from Rocketgraph. View more
Rocketgraph
Build production grade web applications in minutes
Supercharge your web applications with Authentication, PostgresDB, GraphQL and serverless functions right out of the box.
It comes with a PostgresDB hosted on AWS RDS, Hasura console pre-deployed with SSL, built-in authentication and serverless functions.
When I was working at Appsmith, I came across Hasura and realised the need for a streamlined backend solution. Most of the time we(programmers) have an amazing idea for a web application but only have a weekend to develop it. That's why I built Rocketgraph so you can build web applications in minutes and test market fit over the weekend.
Last year I launched v0.2.0 and received a very good response. This year we are releasing v0.3.0 with some amazing features and products like Postgres logger. I have also expanded the resources for getting started. Some of them include:
- Documentation: https://docs.rocketgraph.io/
- Blog: https://blog.rocketgraph.io/
- Repo: https://github.com/RocketsGraphQ...
- Twitter scheduler: https://twitter-app-black.vercel...
- Postgres Logger: https://rocketgraph.io/logger-demo
PS: I will also take up projects related to end-to-end web development. I will build your web application completely and deliver it to you for a lower price because our company is still in a nascent stage and require revenue to get off the ground. Therefore you will get a great quality for a much lower price and will make you our priority customers. Please PM me on Twitter.
@german_merlo1 glad you liked it. Also since we are in a very nascent stage, I'm willing to take up end-toend web projects and integrate these technologies into Rocketgraph for a very minimal price(Since we need to get off the ground now). So please let me know if you have any ideas to collaborate. Thanks again.
Hey Kaushik! Wow, Rocketgraph sounds like an impressive tool for building web applications quickly. Congrats on the successful launch! I'm curious, what are some of the new features in v0.3.0 that you're excited about? 🚀
@goyashy Hey Yash, I’m glad you liked it. It indeed is a revolutionary way to build web applications. I have been doing web development for the past 10 years and I face the same problems today that I have faced the day I started. What technologies do I use to build my app? How easy/difficult is it going to be? How to spin up the resources/servers? Configure them? Security rules and maintenance?
Rocketgraph eliminates these concerns by streamlining the backend setup. We spin up all the resources required to build your backend and configure the security rules so you can simply connect your favourite front-end and deploy it somewhere like Vercel.
In v0.3.0 I released lambda deployments from local. If you want to write additional backend code for your Rocketgraph project, simply follow the AWS Lambda syntax to write your backend on your local machine and then simply do “rgraph deploy project-name”. This will create a Lambda function with the REST endpoints you have in your code automatically. So we take care of spinning up the resources and configuring security rules so you don’t have to.
Checkout the backend code for my Twitter scheduler app here: https://github.com/RocketsGraphQ... deployed it from my local machine and created this: https://twitter-app-black.vercel...
This along with Postgres Logger are the striking features of v0.3.0. We are aiming to integrate OpenAI for the next release.
That said I’d be happy to collaborate and assist you in building your web application using Rocketgraph seamlessly. And prioritise your requirements for the future release. Ping me on Twitter and let’s connect.
