Coach is a music tutor, recorder and midi controller that attaches to your instrument and makes it smarter. It’s the first tool of its kind thanks to its contact mic, standard mic, wifi, bluetooth and two touch surfaces.

For the past 6 years, we have been working on perfecting our vibration detection technology for the Roadie handheld guitar tuners. We asked ourselves, “what can we learn by leaving our sensor on the instrument while playing rather than just while tuning?”. The answer was an absolute deluge of new data points and from this, the idea for Roadie Coach was born. Where do you see the role of data in music education?
