We wanted to build a place for die-hard fans to build personal relationships with the artists they love and at the same time connect to die-hard fans. Our goal is for each artist on ROA to architect their own neighborhood that evolves with their careers.
There are a ton of companies launching into the passion/creator economy space looking for a way to give power back to the artists. We are a firm believer that musicians need a platform that was built specifically for them. What fans want from artists is entirely different from what fans want from a twitch streamer, youtuber, and all other kinds of creators that are successful on websites like Patreon, Bitclout, and OnlyFans.
Artists need something built for them, and that's exactly what we did.
Each artist on ROA has what we call "slices". Each slice is an electronically printed key that grants you access to each artist's Neighborhood. Neighborhood are the communities that each artist can architect and customize for their fans. For an artist to build a cult-like fanbase and really have the potential for powerful monetization, fans need to feel that personal connection. 1:1 interactions and more innovative ways to connect with artists are more valuable than providing premium content or a snippet early (what most artists on Patreon or Onlyfans do to their subscribers).
Shortly after our beta, we are going to introduce our marketplace. This is a place where you can buy and sell slices of artists peer-to-peer. It will function similarly to stockX with a bid/ask format.
We don't do revenue splits and artists give up no equity or earnings, this is the end all be all platform for serious artists.
