Your competitor just stole your top spot! Why does Google think their page is better? RivalFlowAI compares their page to yours and shows you the gaps--the parts they did better. Then it gives you ready-to-paste copy to fill the gaps and jump up the ranks. From the makers at SpyFu

What do you think? …

Mike Roberts (mrspy)
Hey Product Hunters I'm Mike Roberts the Founder of RivalFlow AI (and also SpyFu). We're all super stoked to launch here today, and we'd LOVE to hear your feedback below. We built what I think is our finest product in our 17 years of business. It is hides a ton complex SEO power and analysis under a very simple workflow you don't have to think to use. Most importantly it produces predictable, amazing results, and it'll never tank your rankings. I'm really proud of my team, and what they accomplished. But, I also know that we were wrong about some things - the problem is, I don't know what those things are yet. So, we're listening. Tell us what you like. Tell us what you were confused by. Tell us what we missed. Tell us what we need to think about. Tell us what you just don't like. Tell us if you were expecting it to be something else. We'd love to hear all of those things. Because you have something we haven't had in months: fresh eyes. It will *really* help us. I'll give you an example: RivalFlowAI has been live for about 10 days - and since then we found that it solves a really HUGE problem for marketing agencies. Agencies, it turns out spend quite a bit of time doing Content updates / refreshes for clients and the process is pretty unpredictable and costly. RivalFlow radically streamlines that process for agencies and delivers much better results. We understood that would probably be the case pre-launch. But, what we thought was that agencies would probably need to update MORE pages - like hundreds per month for a single site. But, it turns out that many of them have hundreds of small clients where they need to update a small number of pages 3-5 per month. So, once we talked to those customers we've started to adapt. We hope to get the same type of feedback today from the PH community. So, drop your feedback below. Oh - or questions. I'd love to answer any questions you have. What would you like to know? Does RivalFlow work for local businesses? Does it work for Ecommerce? Is there a minimum amount of traffic? Ask away!

@mike_roberts_mrspy_ Congratulations on the launch!

@adeyemo_samuel Thank you! I appreciate it!

💡 Bright idea
@mike_roberts_mrspy_ Congrats on the launch of RivalFlow. It's always impressive to see a product that simplifies complex tasks like SEO analysis. Your willingness to listen to feedback and adapt based on customer needs is commendable. I'm sure the Product Hunt community will provide valuable insights. I have a question: What makes RivalFlow AI stand out compared to other SEO tools in the market, especially for agencies and local businesses? 🚀
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@tornike_tsiramua1 Thanks Tornike -- and thanks for the great question! RivalFlow AI solves the oldest problem in SEO: "Why does Google think my competitor's page is better?" - It uses AI to actually read their content and yours and give you a comprehensive explanation. That's never been done before. In fact, it's innovative enough that it's broadly patentable. RivalFlow AI is laser focused on improving existing content - that's different from all the hundreds of AI writing tools, that essentially wrap ChatGPT. Among SEO tools meant to optimize the actual written content on the page: the current generation is focused on "keyword frequency optimization", which is keyword stuffing 2.0. That stuff is actively being targeted by Google's Helpful Content Updates. RivalFlow AI makes your content more helpful to users. It finds the questions your competitors are answering more thoroughly than you are and helps you answer them. It's 100% in alignment with what Google wants today and what they want in the future. And the results are incredible. We've seen 2-3x increase in search impressions in about 6 days. Back to your question about agencies and small businesses: it works great for local businesses - I've personally seen amazing results in medical, legal, and real estate. For agencies that service those businesses, RivalFlow has been a game changer. Updating and improving existing content is their most predicable way to create SEO lift. The problem is, it's a time consuming process that's hard to systematize and requires a decent amount of skill and wisdom -- and that make it expensive. RivalFlow produces better results, more consistently, in about 1/5th the amount of time.

@mike_roberts_mrspy_ Thank you Mike for a very fruitful question, that gives clearer picture!

Congrats on a launch! I think that's what was missing at blog optimization segment and your product brings real value!
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rimash Thank you so much. Man, I'll tell you -- the whole time building this product I was like: "I wonder if anyone is going to beat us to market". Lots of content generation tools. Zero content improvement. So, we get first mover. Plus, we'll have patents -- which is nice to have.
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rimash Hey, I see you're launching a competitive analysis product soon! Good luck with the launch! Obv, I'm all about that with SpyFu and now RF. What's the product do?
Uladzislau Rymasheuski
@mike_roberts_mrspy_ Thanks! We concentrated on content side of competitive analysis. Collect data about Audience, Unique Value Proposition, Positioning, Tone of Voice. Also suggesting competitors, aggregate user feedback and so on.
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rimash Sounds cool. Can't wait to check it out. I just hit Notify Me.

@rimash @mike_roberts_mrspy_ Well, we do use tools like Audience Key and parts of Surfer SEO for content improvement. Surfer is pushing content generation, but many writers are not interested in that. We want to focus on exceptional content -- not auto-generated, inaccurate content that needs fact-checked and heavy editing.

Congrats on the launch and it looks very promising. However, I added one specific article to compare and and after signing up it shows me about 20 suggestions for different articles that share the same URL pattern but nothing about the specific article I wanted to analyze. Maybe this is something you should look into, specially in the onboarding part.
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rumblinglankan Oh, interesting. That’s a great insight. We expect you to put in a website - like a domain, or maybe a /blog. But, yeah - I can definitely see why you’d do that - we absolutely need to handle that. I’m going to make a JIRA ticket for it right now, actually. Thank you.
Nishadha Silva
@mike_roberts_mrspy_ Thank you for looking into it. If you are offering that option I would recommend giving an option of adding a keyword as well. You can probably generate a few and ask the user to pick one. We usually optimize for a keyword and the suggestions would probably make more sense at keyword level. I guess the ultimate question would be "What are the top results for [given keyword] have that my article don't have".
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rumblinglankan That's a really good idea. One of the two major features we're adding to RivalFlow next is a custom "writing project" that lets you choose which page you want to work on -- and this would be a great way to allow you to further shape that. I really like the idea. Thank you! I'd give you the Product Hunt award for it, best feature request, but I already gave it out - and they only give me one. ;)
Nishadha Silva
@mike_roberts_mrspy_ That's too bad :-( . Thanks for the thought though. Shows that it pays to be first, even in a PH comment.
Mike Roberts (mrspy)
@rumblinglankan I know right? I didn’t realize I had a limited number. 🤷‍♂️
