Super excited to be giving some more info on Rival today. ✦ **What is Rival?** Rival is a social marketplace for collectibles (think trading cards, NFTs, coins and / or video game memorabilia). We give collectors the tools they need to manage, share and grow their collections. ✦ **Why Rival?** As lifelong collectors, we felt like the experience of collecting lost its way. A passion that was once driven by spontaneity, community, and friendship has become forced, transactional and impersonal. We got fed up with the hours spent scouring faceless marketplaces and growing our collections quietly, in private. So we came up with Rival – a social playground for collectors to connect and thrive. ✦ **What does Rival do?** We have some big goals at Rival. Here’s what we’re working towards: ☞ Rival **Manage**: Stay on top of your collection as it grows ☞ Rival **Share**: Showcase your finds and follow friends’ collections ☞ Rival **Grow**: Discover new niches and make purchase / trade offers instantly ☞ Rival **Connect**: Talk shop with like-minded collectors We’re actively rolling out our free private beta of ‘Rival Grow’ which will act as a social engagement layer built on top of existing online marketplaces (i.e. allowing you to follow friends / sellers, and comment on / like / share new listings from the marketplaces you use).
