What do you think? …

Magnus Rex
Hi PH, Magnus here, founder and maker of RexPad. I have been searching for the ultimate collaborative note-taking tool for over ten years. In my opinion, it should be: - Uncluttered and simple to use with minimal overhead. - Supportive of fearless collaborative writing and collective ownership. - Powerful enough to host thousands of notes that are easy to find, maintain, and forget about when they get old. One and a half years ago I quit my job to make my own. Now RexPad is available as a beta, and I think I have come up with something unique: - Organize notes as a tree with notes nested within notes. It may sound strange, but it's a natural way to organize your notes. No need for folders. - View and edit more than one note at a time. More often than not, I bring up related notes on the side when writing. It's really useful! - Share any part of the note tree and work together in real-time. As RexPad keeps a full version history, one can edit away without fear of messing something up. With this foundation in place, I need your feedback to guide future development. Let me know what you think!

PLEASE TAGS + IMAGES and FILE upload (it is ok to integrate own servers)

@vladkorobov Hi, and thanks for the feedback! To add a tag, just add a leading # to a word, and it will be highlighted and linked. If you add the tag to the title of a note, the note itself will be tagged. If you add it to any other paragraph, the paragraph will be tagged. Image and file uploads are on the roadmap. RexPad will only be offered as a service, but I plan to add a backup option to Dropbox, so you can feel safe that you can't lose your notes whatever happens.
