Discover the best things to do in LA, New York, Tokyo, & other cities around the world. Reverie finds the experiences you actually care about by using AI to search daily for social media’s best recs. So you can spend more time doing, not searching.
Hey PH 👋,
Angelo here, co-founder & CTO of Reverie. Along with my co-founder Eric who I met at Stanford undergrad, we’re a team of 2 that live and breathe travel. Super excited to share Reverie with you all and hear your honest thoughts.
We started Reverie out of a personal problem - when searching for things to do when traveling, all of the suggestions were outdated and uninspiring compared to the incredible travel videos we’d see on TikTok and Instagram. From my experiences as a travel content creator, I realized that our problem was actually part of a larger generational shift - where 61% of Gen Z and 38% of Millennials already use TikTok as their primary travel search engine.
Using our backgrounds in AI, we built an algorithm that indexes travel content from social media to build a discovery platform that surfaces the most interesting restaurants, hikes, activities, etc. that Gen Z is talking about online.
Our goal is to help the next generation of travelers discover true hidden gems and experiences that make them feel alive, wherever they go in the world.
If you’re interested in giving us a try, we’d love to hear your honest thoughts and feedback on how we can improve. Thanks all, and welcome to Reverie!
Hey PH!
Eric, co-founder & CEO of Reverie here. Really excited to share Reverie with the world today. Angelo and I have both been passionate about the travel space for a long time, and always felt like there needed to be something better to help us find experiences that truly make us come alive.
We're currently live in 14 cities around the world, and are quickly looking to expand to even more. Please let us know of any feedback, and we hope you find this useful whether for looking at things to do in your own city, or when you're exploring a new one.
Welcome to Reverie.
This is exactly what I've been looking for! I'm currently in NYC and struggle to figure out what to do on weekends and where to go for restaurants, and this app looks perfect for that. I also like how I can get actually useful info from the videos instead of having to rely on Google reviews or Yelp reviews. Excited to try this out this weekend!
The app saves me and my significant other at least an hour each week! We don't need to jump through multiple sites and reviews. If I'm at a certain part of the city, it tells me the best places I can go to based on my preferences and interests!
