With all the latest AI buzz, my friend and I decided to dabble into a weekend-long project. We built Restore Photo app on react native (avail on both Play + App Stores) using open-source AI models.
The Restore Photo is capable of dealing with many types of damages on photos such as tears, scratches, and spots. It can detect fades to automatically insert the original color. It can sharpen low-resolution photos.
We're using serverless providers, so there could be some delays with image rendering - i.e. cold boot problem.
Kudos on the launch, Restore Photo app caught my attention as a really helpful tool for restoring old and damaged photos. I'm curious about is how the app handles sensitive personal information that might be present in the photos being edited. Overall, I'm excited to explore Restore Photo app further and see how it can benefit my work with digital images…
Congratulations Sisun, on creating such a cool product! 🎉
Congratulations on your fantastic launch! We're excited to announce our own launch today and can't wait to partner with you to create something amazing in space. 🚀
