Hi all, I’ve built a macOS application called Remtoloc. It allows you to sync your databases and files from your server to your Mac with just two clicks, right from the top menu bar. I created Remtoloc to address a common challenge I faced: debugging production issues locally using production data. Instead of manually importing database dumps and copying storage files to your local setup, you can simply select your project from a dropdown in the top menu. This tool is also useful if you work with staging environments where content managers are actively adding content, while the website is still in development. You can add up to three projects for free; after that, a license is required. For more details, visit remtoloc.com. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

This sounds incredibly useful. Syncing production or staging data for local debugging is usually a hassle, so having a simple menu bar tool like Remtoloc makes that process much smoother. I like that it’s quick to set up and supports multiple projects.
