👋 Hey PH fam! If you’ve applied for a job recently, you probably had to send a message that went something like this: “So sorry to bother you, I’m just following up to see if you’ve gotten the chance to refer me to that role at your company as we discussed last week..?” 🫣 This is one of the most painfully awkward things I’ve ever had to do. We all know that referrals are an invaluable tool when job-hunting, but securing and managing them is incredibly uncomfortable and overwhelming. At least it used to be. I’m excited to announce the launch of ReferLink, an app that automates the job referral process so you can focus on landing your dream job. No more cluttered excel spreadsheets and last minute LinkedIn outreach to try to secure referrals — ReferLink streamlines the whole process into three easy steps: 1. Make your ReferLink. This is a page that displays your referral requests ✅ 2. Send it to your network (or post it on LinkedIn) 💌 3. We do the rest (including handling that horrible follow-up!), and you get referred 💪 I built this tool to make my own job hunt easier, and now I’m looking for feedback from YOU! In the past, sending dozens or even hundreds of emails with resume, contact details, etc was commonplace. Now all your info can be easily viewed and shared from your ReferLink. 👥 Larger referrer pool. Sharing your ReferLink as easy as copy+paste, which means you can distribute it widely and tap into your connections’ connections. 📈 Increased follow-through.
