Ready to Party was a fun side project idea that my wife and I came up with. The idea of a Recovery Score for fitness is something that I've added to my flagship app to date, HockeyTracker, and will be included in an upcoming general fitness app I'm currently developing called Athlytic. Research has shown that HRV and Resting Heart Rates are accurate measures of your body's state of recovery. We were about to go to dinner and my wife looked at her HockeyTracker app that showed "80% - Ready To Play" and she said "it looks like I'm ready to party"...and thus Ready to Party was born. 🤣 While the app doesn't require an Apple Watch, it does require some similar wearable that saves your heart rate data into Apple Health that the app uses to calculate your score.
