The problem I've always had with music recommendation services is that taste is usually incredibly subjective and genre labels like "punk" and "rock" rarely actually help me work out whether I will like a band. Usually finding links or comparisons to bands I already enjoy greatly helps me discover new music.
Furthermore, a lot of new music is really, really bad. I dedicate a lot of time and energy to finding new music to listen to. Whenever a service tries to push new music on me, the band is either not that good at songwriting or there's some money involved somewhere along the line.
However, with that being said I like the idea of injecting some randomness into my music listening habits and I'm gonna give this a spin.
@lewisflude Since it's a few months later, I'm curious how you've felt about it? (It's okay if you didn't like it, I know I have a lot of room to improve as a curator.)
