@corleyh I think it's for different kind of conversations, day to day quick chats with your close ones, for example to send a quick message to my wife on whatsapp I have to go through 4 taps, on quickie I just tap her avatar and draw a little sketch or send a video.
another experience which is exclusive to quickie is I can have messages with my 6 years old daughter who can't use whatsapp, on quickie she taps 'daddy picture', sketch, emoji, photo and send video it's amazing !!
@corleyh it allows for 'one tap' communication. Comes super handy with a small circle of friends. Other Apps are more like light forms of email. The only one that is similar to Quickie is Snapchat, but if you're over 21 - good luck trying to figure it out.
@guygamzu@corleyh I was wondering about the Snapchat comparison. I'm over 21 and definitely use Snapchat, but I work with people in their 20s who were patient with my first few (boring) snaps.
It is true that Snapchat is tough for my peers to figure out - even those that are super savvy struggle. I am excited to give Quickie a try.
With Quickie you can connect instantly - ⚡️ Messages are sent when you finish typing (no need to press send!), and 🔒 disappear automatically once viewed!. You can express yourself naturally 😀 , just like in real conversation. Enjoy ✏️ Live sketching, Live animated 📷 photos and selfies, 🎥 Video and Audio Messages.
Feel free to ask me any questions about this new messaging experience ! enjoy ! 😛
@pilosof Good work. You guys worked hard to remove all the friction obviously. I just wonder if that's not going too much into snapchat's territory. Otherwise it's real compelling product. Especially for kids I suppose
@matgosselin thanks! I think snapchat is more about social (stories) / broadcasting and less about conversation / communication. btw we also have 'old' users who like the simplicity and privacy :)
