Good question! Editing from the Shopify admin still requires a lot of time if you have a lot of products, and it's only a simple csv-like editor.
With this app you can make more advanced edits, so for example you can increase the price of all products by an amount or percentage, or you can do a find and replace in the product title.
And you can also filter which products to edit based on rules such as all products with tags or in a collection, or even all product variants below a certain price or just about anything else you want.
Also, you can edit hundreds or thousands of products much faster as well, and then if necessary revert any edits with one click.
