Qonsult allows users to meet and exchange knowledge and expertise via video consultations. The Qonsult app makes it easy to share knowledge profiles, availability, and set a consultation rate. This can be flat, per minute, or even free.

Sounds like a super helpful product with lots of potential! The question is, how do you plan to market this to people interested in booking consultations? If you manage to build a substantial user-base, this could be a game-changer for every professional. PS: Qonsult profiles look a bit weird on desktop. No padding around the text, paragraphs too long horizontally… Needs a bit of work.

@anna_0x Great question around marketing. It will be a multi-pronged approach. Build awareness around the product broadly by test targeting specific networks. Provide tools to consultants to shill their services. Incentive “consultees” to provide social proof of their experience on the platform. As for the desktop profile experience, thanks for sharing and we take a closer look at that.

Hello everyone. So let’s say you’ve worked for some time at something and acquired expertise in that thing. It could be growing petunias, personal styling, accounting, licensure in a particular field, or startups. Literally anything, and you have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Now let’s say there are others working on projects that could use your input. That’s what Qonsult is. It brings together people with domain knowledge in something with those who could benefit from it. I am excited to share our newest app, Qonsult. Often times I find myself wanting to speak with someone with the domain knowledge and experience around projects I am working on. Search engines and websites are great and have always helped but I’ve additionally found that having conversations with friends or friends of friends who had experience on a particular topic to be invaluable. It made me think it would be great to have a place to easily find people who are knowledgeable and open to sharing that knowledge. If that same platform provided tools around profiles, calendar management, payments, and payouts it would be invaluable. Additionally, if it were open to every and anyone and supported a casual and professional expert network community of users. It could prove incredibly useful to anyone working on any type of project whether it’s growing a rose bush to launching a startup. I am super excited to share Qonsult with everyone.
