PrudentMe started as a simple visualization tool for text-based ledgers. Many features had been added over the years to make it easier to import transaction data from banks and funds; keep up-to-date to latest property prices; and analyze interest yields, up-to-dateness of data and many more! For all the features it packs, it is still a desktop application, which is what makes it unique amongst many other tools out there. Privacy of data is something I want for myself and I believe it is best to let individuals manage their data as text files on their own computer. With data in text form, I am also sure it will still be readable in the years to come.

@harris_anita It's text-based, which is what makes it unique. With text transactions, you can also create your own reports with Ledger commands.
