Developers at my last job used proxy softwares like fiddler, to inspect http requests.
But having to download a software and set it up every time a new developer joins the team was a hustle, 🤧
or inspecting http requests from mobile apps, and finding your internal ip and what it changed to since last time, 😤
and testing back and forth if the proxy is getting the requests or not! 😢
So I thought running a proxy inspector on the cloud can be a thing 🎉
ProxyBin gives you a dedicated proxy, with a stable ip:port to inspect http requests from any application that sends http requests 🙌
@evexoio interesting idea. Some small stuff I noticed: The icons aren't displaying - e.g. when you inspect a request and you want to close the request its showing a unicode char. Also the bin doesn't seem to be private/dedicated. I can see the my requests in browser and phone (mobile network with different IP).
@spekulatius1984 Thanks! That's right, the free bin is shared, its made for you to demo and get a feel of the service.
dedicated bin's are paid 💵
I'll see about the icons issue
