Hey Product Hunters 👋 I'm Ciarán, Co-founder and CTO of Protex AI 🙋‍♂️ We built Protex AI because keeping people safe at work is extremely hard 🤕 In the U.S. alone, there were over 5,000 deaths in the workplace in 2019, mainly in the heavy industry space. Protex AI’s platform uses privacy-preserving camera monitoring software to provide companies with an always-on guardian angel, protecting their workforce. The platform plugs into existing CCTV infrastructure and empowers health and safety teams to flexibly translate their document-based safety rules into the real world. Protex AI takes these rules and autonomously audits the customer’s facility to identify areas of high risk and non-compliance. Why do health and safety teams love Protex AI? 📋   Continuous document trails (for external safety audits) 🦺   Significantly increased visibility on HS compliance 🗣   Insights to drive proactive safety discussions 💰   Increased insurability of risk 🧠   Real-life data for more effective training ✅   A safer workplace Follow us for more updates 💌 Subscribe: Subscribe here LinkedIn: Protex AI's LinkedIn page Twitter: ProtexAI We’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions as we continue on our mission to build the next generation of health and safety technology, helping to make the workplace a safer place.

Congratulations! Great product! Can I have a little advice? To ensure that your product does not fall under the restriction associated with video surveillance of employees, consider not displaying real video of people but their schematic representation. Then for potential customers, you will solve the problem of industrial safety but remove the risk of invasion of privacy (in some countries, there are such restrictions)

@sergey_voynov thanks for your insight! Privacy is at the core of everything we do at Protex! All processing is done on-prem and our customers control what type of data is visible on the platform 👷

@ciaran_omara This is not a risk for your company. It is a potential risk for your client. The client may be sued for invasion of privacy. But if you give the client the option to track the movement of people, but displayed in the form of a drawing (avatar) of a person, and not his real video, you remove this risk from the client. Perhaps this will help you get new customers. I know the guys at Cherry Home (https://www.cherrylabs.ai/) have come across this. Maybe it will be useful for you too.
