What is your NFT Project?
Dream Society is a PFP project of 10,000 NFTs that focuses on giving long-term value and utility to the community. 6 months ago when we first started the project, we felt that many projects focused too heavily on the digital development side of NFTs - the metaverse, tokenization, P2E games, etc, and so much depended on the hype of the project, rather than the physical value and experiences they can bring to the community. We perceived NFTs in a different light, as a membership to exclusive experiences, for the new generation seeking fun and innovative communities. Our goal is to be the pioneer NFT project that sets new trends for social media platforms and businesses by offering varieties of real world utilities alongside digital utilities.
What makes your project different from other projects?
Our team has experience investing in over 200 different NFT projects and communities, including BAYC/MAYC, Doodles, Karafuru, CloneX, Azuki, NFT Worlds, Zipcy, 3landers, and Alien Frens. Throughout the past year, we’ve analyzed all the pros and cons of each project’s various utilities and narrowed them down to offer the best combination of utilities. We also noticed that many NFT projects used influencers for marketing, only to have the influencer have no clue about the project or even NFTs in general. One of our main utilities is our Dream Events which are hosted by our partnered influencers (20M+ followers) around their “dreams” and passions. For example, one of our influencers is hyuneeEats, a mukbang Youtuber with 2M followers, and her dream is to cook for and interact with her fans. For her Dream Event, we will be hosting a pop-up restaurant for holders of Dream Society NFTs to dine and enjoy for free. Many other influencers/brands will be co-hosting this event to offer the most exclusive experience.
Our NFTs are very real. Real events, real ownership, real community. We are tired of NFT projects promising a metaverse, virtual wearables, etc., only to be left waiting for months, even years. We have a lot of things planned to display our proof of concept leading up to our launch.
What are the Utilities?
We have tons of utilities in store for our community, but we’ll reveal just a couple so you can at least dip your toes.
We have 5 Dream Events already planned with different influencers (many other events are still in progress as we speak). We’ll give you a hint for those 5 events - Ninja Warrior, Album Release Party, Hollywood Gala, Golf Tournament, and Food Festival. We plan on having dozens of these types of events in various locations for our holders. Not only are these events free for Dream Society NFT holders, but also a VIP experience which cannot be easily bought that people will have FOMO about. Aside from Dream Events, there will also be many private parties and collaborative events our holders will have access to.
Each holder will collectively own a business built around our NFT project - Dream Cafe, Food Truck, Boba Shop. Holders will not only be able to receive free goodies daily from the respective business they get assigned (based on the NFT trait), but they will also get discounts and perks for each of the other businesses such as invites to events. If that wasn’t enough, holders will also receive dividends on net profits of the business their NFT is tied to. A snapshot will take place towards the end of each year to distribute the profits to current holders (payment method still in discussion).
Collaboration Merch/Products - Each Dream Event will have a different merchandise collection, either with an influencer or a sponsored brand. These items will be limited and for sale to the public during these events, but holders will be given tokens they can use to claim merch for free by connecting their wallet regardless of event participation. Merch will be shipped to holders that cannot attend the event via token usage.
Access to IRL community meetups - We plan on moving to a HQ (most likely near the Los Angeles area) big enough to create an NFT space with good vibes for both holders and non-holders, where we will meet weekly to discuss Alpha, NFTs, coffee breaks, and more. We plan on having a holders only area with extra perks for our community members.
Airdrop - Q2 airdrops of dream pets and community IP character which gives extra utilities to our future plans
IP rights - You own the IP rights to your NFT.
Other utilities include giveaways such as airline tickets to our events, collaboration brand perks and discounts, features in our influencer’s contents and posts, whitelists, and much more.
Where will these events take place?
We want to make it clear that most events will take place in the United States. Hosting IRL events in Canada and South Korea are also in the talks, but the majority of our events and appearances will take place in the large cities within the U.S. including CA, NY, FL, TX, CO, etc. Even if you are unable to attend these physical events, there will still be many utilities and events online.
What is your team’s background?
We dove head-first into NFTs in early 2021 while operating our Social Media Agency primarily in the food space. We’ve worked with influencers such as Mike Chen, Jessica Woo, hyuneeEats, and HungryFam amassing over 30M+ followers across their social media platforms.
We’ve also worked with major brands including Popeyes, LA Dodgers, Amazon, Hyundai, Golden Road, Samyang, Kyocera, and many more.
On the event hosting side, we’ve helped host several events such as Asian World Film Festival, KCON, DesignerCon, PGA tournaments, and many more.
