PricesSnap helps buyers and sellers discover accurate item prices with from a picture. We streamline the pricing process, ensuring you get the best deals and insights on your items effortlessly.
Hi Product Hunters, my name is Danny and I'm excited to introduce something I've been working on with you all today!
I sell a lot of stuff online because my collections get too big and the whole process can get quite tedious. I found that researching for a fair price of an item to be one of the most time consuming and frustrating part of the selling process, especially when you have more than a couple items to sell. I wanted to streamline that process so I built PriceSnap.
PriceSnap is a time saving tool for buyers and sellers who want to find profitable opportunities with ease. With just a picture, PriceSnap identifies the item and provides instant pricing insights from eBay listings (with more marketplaces coming soon). You'll get data on active and sold listings to give you a quick breakdown of what the item is worth. If you're buying something, PriceSnap can tell you if it's a good deal. If you're selling, PriceSnap can tell you what price you can expect to sell the item for.
If you sell stuff online, please give it a try! I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
What Is your ICP? I mean it's absolutely great for me as an average customer that sells something used every now and then, but I imagine that for most B2C customers, the 30 credits monthly would be enough. Who would you target for the priced packages? Asking just out of curiosity :)
@glenntoews For a casual user I do expect 30 credits to be enough. I'm targeting resellers who purchase things offline at garage sales or thrift stores and businesses that buy things from customers like hardware repair shops or collectible shops.
This is pretty cool. When I was at Bits & Pretzels two guys also had something similar (take photo and it will search it in e-shops) I do not remember the name of the app tho I was talking them almost 30 minutes :DD but at least, I have this alternative! :D
@busmark_w_nika Thanks for the input! The image search engine will crop what looks like the subject of the image, but a client side image editing tool could be useful in other ways.
