Works Only with Apple MacBook Trackpad with Pressure Input. Change inner circle size by applying pressure on the trackpad. Match inner circle size to outer circle at a randomly determined pressure level. Score a point by holding the correct pressure for 2 sec
Hey everyone, wanted to share Pressure Clicker, a mini game exploring pressure as an input mechanic! 🎮
How It Works:
- Works with Apple MacBook Trackpad with Pressure Input.
- Two concentric circles: an outer static circle and an inner dynamic circle.
- Change inner circle size by applying pressure on the trackpad.
- Match inner circle size to outer circle at a randomly determined pressure level.
- Score a point by holding the correct pressure for 2 seconds.
- Visual feedback and increasing difficulty levels amp up the fun!
Why Pressure as an Input Mechanic?
Exploring pressure sensitivity elevates user interactions, enhancing intuitiveness and responsiveness. It gives us another dimension of interface design.

@kjosephabraham Not anything specific feedback , trying to gauge is this kind of interface is even interesting to people, and if so how can I leverage it in software design.
It is very difficult to maintain the same pressure for 2 seconds. I couldn't do it even once. If it gets points by releasing it quickly when the correct pressure is reached. It should be a lot easier ~
@sizzy Yes , I put it at 2 seconds to make it a bit harder , in the next iteration , I will have a better balance for the win condition. It can be hard to maintain the pressure with your finger specially when its in between the maximum and minimum. Thanks for the feedback.
